Anna Katharina is playing violin, viol and hurdy-gurdy on her first album "Neuland" (translates "Virgin Soil"), she is also putting some good voice into it.
I didn't want to take this blog to suggest music, as I have my magazine for that part of the show - well, I just changed my mind, as her playing is SO BEAUTIFUL that I couldn't help but wonder: how come I was never aware of her incredible talent before? She plays in a band I was listening to for some years (Schandmaul), including going to see their live performance twice, but in the ensemble of all those well-skilled musicians, I never recognized her. I assume, that just changed today. Outstanding!
